   Windtrackers are usually used as an element of permanent exposition
   in front of shopping centres, municipal offices or company
   headquarters. Together with a flag on top they form a part of company's
   visual identification system or are used in product marketing.

It is a flagpole with an internal halyard and a horizontal arm on top, attached to a revolving finial. Such a construction ensures proper visual presentation of a flag even in windless weather.

Depending on a type, windtracker flagpoles can consist of one or several segments made of durable materials, such as aluminium or GRP.
